Our Story
Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Chesapeake Strings is an award-winning classical string ensemble comprised of some of the finest professional musicians in Maryland. Our original trio musicians hold advanced degrees from Rice University (TX), North Carolina School of the Arts, and University of Maryland, College Park, and perform regularly with area orchestras such as the Baltimore Symphony, Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, Richmond Symphony, Virginia Symphony, Annapolis Symphony, Lancaster Symphony, Harrisburg Symphony, National Philharmonic, and the Delaware Symphony.
Although CS mainly performs as a string trio, we also provide string duos and violin soloists.
We are extremely proud to operate a uniquely personalized and well-respected, family-run business. Elizabeth and Justin were married in Stevensville, MD in 2012 and work alongside our most experienced professional friends and colleagues at all of our events. Chesapeake Strings will only accommodate a select number of weddings per weekend to ensure the highest quality and most polished performances for our clients.
